Casualties of selfishness

Half of all very premature babies are disabled.

"The rate of premature births in the United States has crept up in recent years, in part because of a rise in multiple births and older mothers.

"It's important to realize that prematurity is a major public health problem. One in eight babies are born prematurely," said Dr. Scott Berns of the March of Dimes."

We need to stop the baby-at-all-costs madness. We need to stop the geriatric breeding. We need to stop the infertility treatments.

If people really loved kids, if they really cared about kids and not just about themselves, then they wouldn't do this to a child. They wouldn't subject a new life to a nearly 50 percent chance of disability.

How odd it is that once the kids are born, parents expect the world to be bubble-wrapped and sanitized, but those same parents give seemingly little thought to the problems they inflict on the kids they are bringing into to the world. It's never their fault, or their responsibility.

exactly, what is the quality of life like for the disabled kids, and their parents.. i know one family, and they were told not to have kids, because there was things in their dna that would make any offspring in pain all the time.. and so they decided not to have them..

but your right its all about selfishness
